Course Description
Organizations rely on system-generated reports to support critical management reviews and key controls. When these reports are used in SOX, financial reporting, or ITGC environments, auditors must validate that the information is complete, accurate, and pulled with the correct logic. This webinar will provide a clear, practical framework for evaluating key reports through logic testing and completeness and accuracy (C&A) testing, helping auditors avoid common pitfalls and apply a risk-based approach.
Through real-world examples, system screenshots, and side-by-side case studies, participants will learn how to identify key reports, evaluate their reliability, determine when logic testing is required, and perform effective C&A procedures. The course also explains how testing requirements differ across report types and how to tailor audit procedures based on how the report is used in the control. This session is designed to boost auditor confidence, improve testing quality, and strengthen overall IPE evaluation.
