Jason Parker is a Technical Accounting Manager at LeaseQuery. Prior to joining LeaseQuery, Jason worked in the audit practice at KPMG, serving clients in both the public and private sectors in a wide array of industries. Jason obtained the "Double Dawg" status at the University of Georgia, receiving both a Bachelors degree and Masters degree in Accounting. He is an active Certified Public Accountant and a current member of the AICPA.

Justin Shemaria

Justin Shemaria is a Technical Accounting Manager at LeaseQuery. Prior to joining LeaseQuery, Justin worked in the audit practice at Deloitte and also worked in financial reporting at a publicly-traded fortune 500 company. Justin received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Georgia. He is an active Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the AICPA. 

Abdi Ali

• Technical Accounting Manager

A former Grant Thornton audit associate, Abdi helps LeaseQuery’s customers understand and implement the new lease standards. While at Grant Thornton, he assisted in the audits of various publicly traded and privately held clients. He also has experience as a general ledger accountant. Prior to LeaseQuery, Abdi earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting followed by a master’s degree in professional accountancy from Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business.

Amanda Payne

Amanda Payne is a Technical Accounting Manager at LeaseQuery. She began her career at Ernst & Young (EY) in assurance services working with clients in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. There she was responsible for planning and performing audit procedures, collecting and organizing ongoing support from client management, and leading and presenting to client management and assurance teams in the Americas, India, and Egypt. Amanda earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a Specialization in Professional Accounting from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree in Accounting from Troy University.

David Buchanan

David Buchanan is an Accounting Manager at LeaseQuery. Prior to joining LeaseQuery, David worked in the audit practice at Ernst & Young across several industries including insurance, healthcare, biomedical, and manufacturing. David received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from California State University Northridge and Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee.

Rachel Reed

Rachel Reed is a Technical Accounting Manager at LeaseQuery. Rachel's experience includes working in the audit practice at EY, where she served clients across a wide variety of industries in both the public and private sectors. Rachel graduated from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) with both a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Accounting.

Andrew McCown

Andrew McCown is a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting at LeaseQuery, and works with new and prospective clients to easily understand and recognize how to transition to the new lease accounting standards. As a technical accountant, Andrew is responsible for demonstrating LeaseQuery’s ease of use, providing user-specific functionality, as well as offering lease accounting subject matter expertise. Andrew also assists in ensuring that LeaseQuery’s roadmap and application are constantly evolving to meet the needs of our clients and in accordance with accounting standard updates. Andrew frequently conducts live webinars on aspects of the new lease accounting standard.

George Azih

George Azih Is LeaseQuery’s Founder and CEO. Prior to founding LeaseQuery, George worked in Technical Accounting and Accounting Research for a Fortune 500 company, specializing in lease accounting, debt modifications and hedge accounting. Prior to that, he worked in a CPA firm specializing in audits of financial institutions (banks and insurance companies). He holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Georgia, and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Georgia Society of CPAs.

Kiley Arnold

Kiley Arnold is an Accounting Manager at LeaseQuery and a CPA, certified in the state of Georgia.  She started her career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen.  From there she moved into a Senior Accountant role and later served as an Assistant Controller in companies across multiple industries including healthcare, transportation, media, and manufacturing. In her most recent role, Kiley led the IFRS 16 implementation team for a global manufacturing company.  

Wesley Williams

Wesley has external audit experience working for KPMG in their audit practice, where he served clients across many different industries both public and private. Wesley graduated from Kennesaw State University with both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Accounting.  

Melissa Sacks

Melissa is the Director of Product at LeaseQuery, where her accounting expertise and interest in building technology to simplify the lives of accountants merge. Melissa has over 17 years of experience in technical accounting and financial reporting and began her career at Deloitte. In her most recent role, prior to joining LeaseQuery, Melissa led the successful implementation of ASC 842 at a publicly traded REIT. Melissa graduated from Penn State University, has an MBA from Villanova University and is a licensed CPA.  

Stephen Hester

Stephen is the Lead Solutions Engineer for FinQuery. Stephen has brought in his experience as a Solutions architect for SaaS applications to support FinQuery's SaaS spend platform.

Shannon Matthews

• Communications Manager

Shannon Matthews is the marketing communications manager at LeaseQuery. Prior to LeaseQuery, Shannon has several years of experience in the B2B software industry including medical, ERP, CRM, supply chain, marketing, retail and accounting. She has spent the last decade of her career in marketing and public relations, working closely with subject matter experts to better understand the technology and industries she writes about. Shannon has a B.A. in communications with a focus in public relations from Kennesaw State University. 

Emily Fish

Emily Fish is the Product Accounting Specialist at LeaseQuery. She worked at Pier 1 Imports for six and a half years as Senior Manager of Lease Accounting and Audit. While there, she led the Pier 1 team for selection and implementation of new lease accounting software, as well as implementation of Topic 842. Her data migration, process design, and project management throughout software implementation was deemed to be the “Gold Standard” by the software company. Sarah O'Sullivan

Sarah O'Sullivan is a Director of Product at LeaseQuery. Sarah started her career in the audit practice at Deloitte and went on to serve in technical accounting and financial reporting roles for Fortune 500 companies in the manufacturing industry. In these roles, Sarah managed the external reporting process and led implementation projects for new US GAAP compliance, including ASC 842. Sarah graduated from the University of Georgia with both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Accounting and is a licensed CPA in the state of Georgia.

David Blackistone

David is a director with RSM and has extensive experience and networks within the corporate and commercial real estate industry. With nearly twenty years of direct experience assisting corporations with improving operations via functional and technical solutions. David has worked as a consultant for two of the "Big 4" consulting firms during which he has worked with many varied clients from the Fortune 500, commercial real estate owners and governmental agencies. Most recently David has been working on the new lease accounting standards and assisting companies in meeting these new requirements both from a technical and operational perspective.

Lisa Kaestle

Lisa Kaestle is a Director in Accounting Advisory Services Group for Grant Thornton. She leads Grant Thornton’s National Leasing Center of Excellence and serves as the primary technical consultant for all consulting engagements (over 350 engagements, covering all industries).

Alaina Wagner

Alaina joined LeaseQuery after working in corporate accounting, where she led the adoption of ASC 842. She has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kennesaw State University and a Master’s degree in accounting from Auburn University.

Jaron Moss

Jaron Moss is a Technical Accounting Consultant for LeaseQuery and brings extensive experience with the ASC 842 and GASB 96 standards. Before LeaseQuery he worked in public accounting at BGW CPA. Jaron received his degree in accounting and business administration from Belmont Abbey College and is a licensed CPA.
