In this webinar, Doug Menendez will walk through the revenue cycle of a business with a focus on:
- Taking orders from customers
- Shipping finished goods
- Customer use of company services
- Maintenance and collection of accounts receivable, and
- The receipt of cash from customers.
The revenue cycle is the cycle in which the physical control and ownership rights over resources are given up in exchange for cash, the cost of sales is an accounting function which may be identified with the revenue cycle.

Doug has over 40 years of experience in IT Audit, Security, Compliance, and Risk Management in a variety of industries. He is currently an Instructor in Webster University’s nationally recognized Cybersecurity program. Doug holds an MBA from Saint Louis University, and is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He served on the Board of Directors of CyberUp, A St. Louis-based nonprofit organization that focuses on cybersecurity apprenticeships and youth education programs.
