Course Description

This introductory course will guide the participant into the huge benefits and challenges AI presents for the accounting profession.  It will describe how AI and “Machine Learning” work.  In addition, it will explain how organizations, accounting firms and CPAs can begin the regular use of AI and how that will improve client services and the bottom line of practitioners in the accounting profession.  Further, this course will lay out the huge scope of AI, some of the current investments and activities associated with AI, and guide the participant on how to keep current on AI developments and uses.

    Herb Rubenstein is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Washington and Lee. He was a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar to the University of Bristol where he received a diploma in the social sciences. He received his Master of Public Affairs from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs of the University of Texas at Austin. He has his law degree from Georgetown University. His books in Entrepreneurism and Leadership have been published by major publishers and he has over 100 articles on Ethics, Leadership, Boards of Directors, Change Management, Scenario Planning, and related management disciplines.
