Tyler is a graduate of Hillsdale College and a heavily involved alumnus. Additionally, he and his wife, Caitlin, founded Ivywood Classical Academy, a K-12 public charter school in Plymouth, Michigan, where he serves as Board President. He has five children and enjoys staying active with them in the community and on their homestead.
