Scott Schwertner is the National Director of Sales & Use Tax at Invoke Tax Partners and has been serving their clients for more than 10 years. Under Scott’s leadership, the Sales & Use Tax team provides overpayment reviews, audit defense, tax research, and best practice consulting across the United States for a variety of industries, specializing in Manufacturing and Oil & Gas. His team prides itself on providing best-in-class services while creating lasting business relationships with clients.

Scott used previous Severance Tax experience to build Invoke’s Severance Tax service line as a new offering. The Severance Tax team has created a process to analyze, obtain, and maximize the benefits of exemptions for clients. They also complete marketing reviews to maximize deductions and thus reduce the tax liability.
