Jesse is a Director in Connor Group’s Technical Accounting and IPO Services practice providing assistance on complex revenue recognition issues and assisting clients with the adoption of ASC 606. Jesse has participated in and led various aspects of ASC 606 projects, including: drafting company-wide ASC 606 revenue recognition policies and adoption memos, drafting technical accounting white papers, preparing and delivering training on ASC 606 adoption, and quantifying the impact of the adoption of ASC 606. Jesse’s clients include a diverse group of technology companies that range in size from pre-IPO to multi-billion dollar public software and technology companies. 

Prior to joining Connor Group, Jesse spent more than 10 years in various management roles within the revenue recognition groups at two Fortune 500 companies. Before his time in the private sector, Jesse worked at Grant Thornton. Jesse has broad understanding of GAAP and an ability to foster collaboration and business partnering amongst disparate lines of business and with external auditors. Jesse has extensive experience in accounting for revenue arrangements, including multi-element arrangements, VSOE & BESP analysis, and translating results so as to be understood by all business functions. 

Jesse graduated cum laude with his Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Colorado.
