Cole P. Smith is a Certified General Appraiser with experience performing complex commercial real estate valuations across a wide range of asset classes, with specialized expertise in the cannabis sector. He has supported major public accounting firms on fair value analyses for large real estate audit clients, with a focus on audit‑driven valuation standards, risk assessment, and documentation. In addition to national work, Cole is based in Washington, D.C. and has regional expertise in the Washington, D.C.–Maryland–Virginia region.
Cole holds a B.S. in Real Estate Finance from DePaul University. He is active in several professional organizations, including the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance, Delta Sigma Pi, and the Young Real Estate Professionals of Chicago.
