Carlin Simmons, CPA, is Connor Group's Director of Managed Services. He has over 12 years of progressive experience and leadership, engaging with public and privately held domestic and international companies. He has proven success in internal controls/SOX 404 compliance, technical accounting, project management, financial statement review, and SEC reporting. Carlin is a Big 4 alumnus, having spent nine years at PwC in the assurance practice. While at PwC, he worked closely with multiple clients managing and executing audits. For publicly held clients, Carlin reviewed and provided feedback for SEC-required filings, proxy statements, and SEC comment letters. He has extensive experience with SOX programs, including risk assessment, RCM, controls remediation, and compliance with PCAOB documentation standards.
