Austin is a Director in Connor Group’s Technical Accounting & IPO Services practice. Austin provides assistance to clients with technical accounting issues, audit preparation, and helps clients achieve IPO readiness. Austin has experience in technical areas such as revenue recognition, business combinations, debt and equity transactions, and public and private financial statement preparation. 

Prior to joining Connor Group, Austin worked for EY, gaining experience in both private and public sectors within primarily the tech and manufacturing industries. He performed audit procedures on all sections of the balance sheet and P&L as well as SOX walkthrough/control testing procedures for all business cycles. Additionally, Austin has had the opportunity to work on carve-outs, dispositions, at-the-market offerings, and debt offerings. 

Austin is a Certified Public Accountant (AZ – Active) and member of the AICPA. He graduated with his Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University. He is based in our Utah office.
